About GetSharpe

GetSharpe is a free interview-prep platform for quantitative trading and high-frequency trading roles. Realistic problems graded automatically with the same correctness and performance standards top trading firms use in their final-round technical interviews.

How it works

Pick a challenge. Read the spec. Write a solution in C++, Rust, Java, or Python. Submit it. The grader runs your code against a deterministic test corpus, measures correctness and runtime, and assigns a tier: Gold, Silver, Bronze, or Fail. Your best result per challenge appears on the leaderboard.

Every challenge ships with a starter skeleton, IO format spec, example input and output, and clearly published performance thresholds for each tier.

What you get

Sharp signal about whether your engineering chops match the bar at firms like Citadel, Jane Street, Jump, and Two Sigma. A way to demonstrate competence to a recruiter without a take-home assignment. And, for top performers on the hardest challenges, introductions to partner firms that are hiring.

Who built it

GetSharpe is built and operated by Axiom Group, an executive and technical search firm founded in 2009. Axiom Group has completed over 350 searches in quantitative trading, HFT, AI, and distributed systems.

What we are not

We are not a course. We are not a video tutorial. We are not a chatbot pretending to be a senior engineer. We are a small set of hard problems, a grader that knows the difference between Gold and Fail, and a leaderboard that does not lie.
